William Jerome Troy

DUDLEY - William Jerome Troy, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Billy was born in Worcester to the late Katheryn Troy and was adopted by Ada M. (LaPointe) Troy.

Billy is survived by his wife, Tracy (Vancelette) Troy of Dudley, his six sons, Isaac and his wife, Nadege Troy of Woodstock, CT, Nathan Troy of Minooka, IL, Austin Troy and his wife, Serena of Leominster, Auburn Troy of Worcester, Nehemiah Troy of Santa Ana, CA and Shaunan Troy and his wife Karen of Westborough, and his daughter Bethany (Troy) Burdick and her husband Jed of Auburn. He leaves three siblings, Doris Parker, Kathy Parker and Arthur Parker. He had 25 grandchildren as well as a dear sister-in-law, Elaine Astrella and her husband Joseph, many nieces and nephews and friends that he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his wife Donna M. Troy and his daughter Olivia M. Troy and his adopted siblings, Elsie Troy and Donna Troy.

Billy was a painter for almost 50 years and had an eye for detail and he had a creative side which he used in making unique furniture that was loved by many. He had a love for Worcester history and Worcester architecture. He also loved music from Motown, British Rock to hymns and contemporary christian music. He also had a love for all things homesteading, from farming and gardening and had fond memories of his 92 acre farm in upstate New York. Billy loved collecting antique toys and trucks among many other things. But his biggest pride and joy was his family and treasured each moment he could spend with them. He was a kind, compassionate soul who would do almost anything for anyone and those that had the pleasure of knowing him, were better because of it.

Calling hours will be held at The Mill Church, 45 River Street, in Millbury, MA on Sunday, August 10th at 3pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4pm.
