Ursula M. Frederick

Ursula Maria Laskowski was born on March 9, 1937, in the serene town of Neuteich, West Prussia, Germany, to Johannes and Rosalie Laskowski. She peacefully departed this world on August 21, 2026, at her home, after a courageous battle with illness. Ursula's life, marked by resilience and grace, was a testament to the strength of the human spirit. 

Ursula's journey was rich with love and laughter. She married George L. Frederick Jr. on January 28, 1965, in Germany, and together they shared 20 beautiful years before George's passing. Their union was blessed with two cherished daughters, Manuela F. Eremionkhale and Gwendolyn Jones, who were the light of Ursula's life. 

Though she spent her early years as a dedicated homemaker, Ursula's talents reached far beyond the walls of her home. She briefly worked at Foster Grant in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, during the late 1970s, where her impressive skills as a seamstress and furniture upholsterer were admired by many. Ursula took pride in her home, particularly in the delicious soups, potatoes, and goulash she prepared with love for her family. Her quick wit, warm smile, and feisty charm were hallmarks of her character, endearing her to all who knew her. 

Ursula was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love knew no bounds. She is survived by her daughters, Manuela and Gwendolyn; her grandchildren, Jarrel Cushinberry, Gregory Weatherspoon Jr., Ameena Weatherspoon, and Jeremiah Eremionkhale; and her great-grandchildren, Jandell, Joaquin, Tianna, Jayvonn, and Jai. Ursula also leaves behind her beloved family in Germany, including Brother Paul Laskowski, sisters Margreth& Gisela Nephews- Werner, HansJoachim, Thomas Schroder, Stephan, Nieces Marlene and family, Regina & Claus, Christine Christ & Julia, Nancy and Leslie as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her best friend, Hilda Crumby, shared a lifelong bond with Ursula, a testament to the depth of her friendships. 

Ursula's love for animals, particularly her pets Honey, Danny, and Peter, was another reflection of her nurturing spirit. She had a flair for home decorating and was proud of the beautiful clothing she sewed, which were expressions of her creativity and passion. 

Predeceased by her parents, Johannes and Rosalie, as well as her siblings Bruno, Kate, Alfred, Hans, Otto, and Crystal Martinez, Ursula now joins them in eternal peace. 

A celebration of Ursula's life will be held on Tuesday, September 1st from 10:00AM - 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street in Worcester. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Her family extends a special message: "An angel on earth has returned to her home with Jesus. Forever in our hearts. Mom, you will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace, my sweet love."
