Todd Hammond

Todd Hammond passed away peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by the love of his family. He will be remembered as a devoted father, papa, son, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and willingness to help others touched countless lives.

Todd is survived by his three children: Kaleena Fadden and her husband, Chris, of Ware, Massachusetts; Chadd Hammond and his wife, Meaghan, of Oxford, Massachusetts; and Jarydd Hammond and his wife, Jill, of Eagle point,Oregon. He was a proud Papa to eight grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.

He is also survived by his father, George Hammond; his sisters, Faye, Patricia, and Carol; and his brother, Glen. Todd was predeceased by his beloved mother, Nancy.

Todd spent much of his life working as a truck driver, a career that allowed him to do what he loved most—traveling across the United States and experiencing the open road. A true New Englander at heart, he could often be found with a Dunkin’ coffee in hand while cheering on the Red Sox and Patriots or listening to sports talk radio throughout the day.

Known to many as “Mr. Fix-It,” Todd was always working on a project, tinkering with models, or finding a way to repair just about anything. No matter the time or circumstance, he was always there to answer a phone call from his children when they needed advice, a helping hand, or guidance on fixing something around the house. His generosity, patience, and practical wisdom became a lasting gift to those he loved.

Todd’s legacy lives on through his family, the memories he created, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and willingness to help others. He will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Todd’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to a charity of your choice
