Steven A. Culhane

August 14, 1957 — January 25, 2026

AUBURN - Steven Culhane passed away on January 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 14, 1957, Steve faced every challenge in life with determination, stubborn resilience, and an unmistakable sense of humor.

Steve was predeceased by his brother Maurice Culhane and his mother Judith McKee.

Steve was a devoted father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from time spent with his family. He leaves behind his three daughters: Lisa McMenemy and her husband Kenneth McMenemy; Christine Scutt; and his youngest daughter, Danielle Culhane. He was a proud grandfather to Caitlin, Carissa, Cody, Connor, Kody, Capri, Camdyn, Aurellia, and Skarlette, all of whom brought immense happiness to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings: Cheryl Lancaster and her husband Michael; his sister Susan Stankus and her husband Mike; and his brother Tim Culhane and his wife Paula, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Steve had a deep love for life and for capturing it through the lens of his camera. He enjoyed family time, fishing trips, camping adventures, trips to Maine, and visits to the casino with Grammy. A true music lover, he cherished classic rock and live music, and he was known as a jokester who could always bring laughter into a room.

An avid animal lover, Steve adored his dogs, Ruffy and Hazel, who were truly his babies and constant companions.

Steve’s strength, humor, and love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

Services are TBD. In accordance with Steven’s wishes, the family requests a private service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made in his name to the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
