Sean Demrest

Sean Demrest, 51, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on July 10, 2026, after suffering a medical emergency on July 5, 2026.

Sean was born on June 6, 1975, in Milford, Massachusetts, to Richard Demrest and Eileen Britt. He was predeceased by his mother, Eileen Britt, and is survived by his father, Richard Demrest of Uxbridge.

Sean is survived by his children, Brianna L. Watson and her husband, Dustin, of Uxbridge, and Sean P. McLaughlin and his wife, Makenzie, of Newmarket, NH ; his seven grandchildren, Lincoln, Riley, Elijah, Molly, Stella, Keaton, and Bennett, who is expected later this year; his siblings, Tara Donaher and her husband, Mark, of Milford, LeAnn Condon and her husband, Paul, of Worcester, Rick Demrest of Warwick, RI, and Jamie Demrest and his wife, April of Mountairy, NC. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A graduate of Uxbridge High School, Sean was a proud member of the Uxbridge High School football team. He also served a brief period in the United States Navy. Sean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, where he felt most at home. He was a ladies' man and was known for his sarcastic wit, goofy personality, inappropriate sense of humor, and love of pulling pranks on those around him. Whether he was cracking a joke or trying to get a laugh, Sean had a way of earning plenty of eye rolls from those who knew him best. He was never afraid to be himself and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

His family finds comfort in knowing that, through the gift of organ donation, Sean's final act was one of extraordinary generosity. He was able to save the lives of two people, leaving behind a legacy of hope that will continue through others.

Sean will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared and find comfort in knowing that, through faith, this is not goodbye forever.
