Roger Allen Rosenlund

Roger Allen Rosenlund, age 72, passed away surrounded by his children on July 13, 2025. He leaves his children Dawn Rosenlund, Julia Rosenlund, her twin Emil Rosenlund, and Erik Rosenlund, his sister Carol Nordquist, and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was born in Holden, son of the late Sven and Alice (Johnson) Rosenlund. He spent most of his early life in West Boylston, where he was the youngest of seven children. He had a passion for cars and music, coming from his brothers and his father respectively. Many know him from his time working at his brother’s gas station on West Boylston Street. Many friends enjoyed live music played by him and his bands at their cookouts, parties, and events. He has a single music video on YouTube that he wanted everyone to see, of one of his original songs “Leavin’ Town.” Two of his most known bands being XXX and CPR. Roger loved to play bass, and also loved to write and perform vocals in his music. Roger was always trying new things through music, he especially enjoyed all the friends he made through music, and loved to see others enjoying his music and having a good time. He was a creative mind with many inventions, always cooking up new ideas.

Roger will be deeply missed by his family, and all the friends he made throughout his life.
