Richard "Richie" Hoover

WATERTOWN - Richard “Richie” Hoover was born on June 18, 1929 in the Boston area and spent most of his life in Watertown, MA. He leaves three children, Richard G. and his wife Virginia M. of Westminster, Robert F. of Attleboro and Maryellen Walker of Burrillville, R.I. He also leaves five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Richie had a long and successful career as a test technician at Raytheon Company working on several important government contracts such as the Apollo and Trident programs. He was a U.S history buff who enjoyed watching various shows depicting WWII events. Richie also enjoyed listening to Big Band music, frequenting the town library, meeting his friends each morning at McDonalds for coffee and spending quality time with grand and great grandkids.
