Leominster – Ramiro Rivera Santiago, 82, died peacefully at home on July 30, 2025. He was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Ramiro Rivera and Amelia Santiago.
Ramiro was raised and received his education in Puerto Rico. He lived in Puerto Rico before settling in Waltham in 1984. Ramiro found his work home at Microsemi Corporation in Watertown, where he dedicated over twenty years, retiring in 2005. He will be remembered for his passion for cars, his quick wit and his love and dedication to his family. He will be dearly missed.
Ramiro will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 62 years, Gloria Maria Flores; his daughters, Onelia Rivera of Puerto Rico, Maribel Rivera of Devens, Enid O’Keefe of Devens and Migdalia Rivera-Flores and her husband, Marcelino Rodriguez of Leominster; his brother, Obdulio Rivera of Marlborough; his sisters, Carmen Rivera of Puerto Rico, Teresa Rivera of Puerto Rico, Amelia Rivera of Texas and Edmee Rivera of Waltham; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours from 2 to 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester.
