WESTBOROUGH, MA - Pradyuman Patel, beloved husband, father, brother, and son, passed away on February 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on February 4, 1961, in Ahmedabad, India, Pradyuman was the youngest of four siblings. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from H.K. Commerce College in Ahmedabad. At the age of 27, he immigrated to the United States in pursuit of opportunity and a better future for himself and his family. He initially settled in Methuen, Massachusetts, where he worked tirelessly—often holding two to three jobs at a time—to build a foundation in his new home country. In 1990, he married his wife, Kalpita Patel, and together they began their life in Brockton.
Pradyuman transitioned to a career with the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated 31 years of service as a postal worker. Shortly thereafter, he and Kalpita welcomed their daughter, Ashka, in 1995, followed by their son, Kush, in 1998. Through hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to their family, Pradyuman and Kalpita provided a better life for their children, supporting them through their education and helping them both establish strong careers.
Pradyuman retired in July 2024 with dreams of traveling the world and spending cherished time with his loved ones. In retirement, he devoted himself fully to his passions: spirituality, philanthropy, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle—lifting weights well into retirement—and enjoying football and cricket matches. He fulfilled a lifelong spiritual goal by completing the sacred Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage during an extended trip to India, where he also visited numerous mandirs and carried out meaningful philanthropic work.
Pradyuman leaves behind a legacy of profound compassion, resilience, and quiet strength. The impact of his life will be forever cherished, and his memory will live on in all those he inspired.
