Paul Bergstrom

Blackstone - Paul Bergstrom, 70, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 16, 2023. He was born in Norwood, the son of George and Barbara (Bowditch) Bergstrom and had lived in Blackstone for 40 years. Paul graduated from Bellingham High School with the class of 1970. He worked as a machinist for D & B Machining Inc. for many years retiring in 2021. Paul was a member of the Burrillville Seventh-Day Adventist Church where he leaves many dear friends. Paul had a lifelong passion for music and especially enjoyed singing during worship at church, playing the guitar and the mountain dulcimer. A lifelong Jeopardy fan, he was known for his quick wit, humor and unrivaled knowledge of history. Above all he enjoyed being with his family. Paul will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 46 years, Katherine M. (Brungardt) Bergstrom; his sons, Michael Bergstrom and his wife, Christy of Douglas and Adam Bergstrom and his wife, Claudia of Sutton; his brother, John Bergstrom and his wife, Annette of Pennsylvania; his sisters, Jeanne Heath and her husband, Doug of Florida and Anne Bergstrom of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Cole, Brady, Emmett, Alex, Joseph and Paloma. Paul was also predeceased by his sister, Carol Fitzgerald. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
