Paul Michael Tynan, 68, of Bellingham Massachusetts passed away after a very long illness surrounded by his loving family on Fathers Day, June 21st 2026. . Paul was born in New Bedford on May 16th 1958 and spent his childhood in Bedford, Massachusetts.
After graduating from Bedford High School, he enlisted in the Army Airborne reserves where he earned his jump wings. He attended college in Framingham, graduating as salutatorian in Engineering. He spent most of his 40 year career in the manufacturing industry as a quality control manager, earning the prestigious Malcolm Baldrich Award and later years as a process engineer.
He leaves behind his wife, Brenda (Taylor) Tynan of Bellingham and his children Sean Tynan of Bellingham, and Becky Tynan of Worcester, and two sisters, Barbara Tynan Baker and Margaret Tynan. Paul was predeceased by his parents, James and Barbara Tynan, and his brother, Jim Tynan of Bedford MA.
Paul was talented in woodworking, creating beautiful furniture. He was a long term fan of the Boston Celtics as well as all Boston teams. He enjoyed the beach and loved spending time with his family. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family who will continue to carry his love forward.
