Nicholas "Nick" Roland Wilcox

ORANGE - Nicholas "Nick" Roland Wilcox, 46, of Orange, MA, passed away peacefully at Umass Memorial on May 6, 2025. Born on March 13, 1979, in Greenfield, MA, he was the cherished son of Kenneth and Michelle (Meuse) Wilcox of Orange, MA.

A lover of music from a very young age, Nick was talented with both the guitar and drums. His love for fishing brought him many enjoyable moments with his father and grandfather, as well as friends. Known for his willingness to help others, Nick was a good friend who enjoyed the art of conversation and debate.

Throughout his life, Nick held various positions, including automotive repair, detailing, and inspections, but he was most passionate about his work as a painter in construction and remodeling, where his remarkable attention to detail and extensive knowledge were greatly valued. He also found joy in the summers spent landscaping with his grandfather John in Orlando, FL, which were among his most treasured memories.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents; his sister, Susan (Wilcox) Horn and her husband Charles of Oxford; his uncle Tony Meuse and wife Cheryl, their daughters Kelly Snell and Anna Meuse and their families; and his extended family. Nick was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Susan (Hicks) Cannon, and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth "Grandpa Peanuts" Wilcox and Pauline "Grandma Kitty" (Letourneau) Wilcox.

A private service will be held to honor Nick's life. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend whose legacy of kindness and warmth will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
