Nancy Alice (Gray) (LeBlanc) Bagley was born on November 26, 1934, in Salem, MA. She passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 91.
Nancy was born and raised in Salem, MA, and was the daughter of Violet (Shepperson) (Gray) Benoit and Earl Gray. They predeceased her as well as her brother Donald Gray, and sisters Dorothy Haddon and Shirley Miller. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, and her three sons Gary, Glenn and Donald LeBlanc.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine, two stepdaughters, Valerie Masselli, and Deborah Proctor (and Jack Andrew); her three grandchildren Meredith (and Peter) Mistark, Matthew (and Lauren) Sooy, and Christopher LeBlanc Smith; and her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Nancy married Gerard (Jerry) LeBlanc at the age of 18. As a young woman, she worked nights at GTE Sylvania in Salem. She then attended cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser for many years while raising her family.
She and Bob met while working at Beverly Hospital. They married in 1983 and spent many years traveling and living a happy life together. They were tour guides and led trips in their motor home leading other motor homes across the U.S.
They built their dream log home in Charlton, MA in 1986. It was on three acres of land with a long driveway and a vegetable garden they tended. They enjoyed hosting many family cookouts over the years.
Eventually, they stopped touring the U.S., and settled into their home in Winter Haven, Florida, and became snowbirds, maintaining their home in MA. They had a fulfilling life with family and friends. Bob passed in 2017.
Nancy continued to live independently until her death. She went to the gym regularly before it closed after Covid. She played cards with friends weekly and always reached out to family and friends to remain connected.
In the past 6 years, her time with her three great-grandchildren, Jack, George, and Avery was the joy in her life. Even at 91, she enjoyed playing on the floor with them and chasing them around.
Per her request, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest in Danvers, MA, with her husband and three sons.
