GRAFTON - Morrie Lewin, 68, of Grafton Massachusetts, passed away on May 28, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born in Hanover, New Hampshire. His life was marked by a deep love for his family, an insatiable curiosity for learning, and a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him.
Morrie graduated from Woodstock High School in 1975. Pursuing his education at the University of Vermont, he transferred in 1976 to Vermont Technical College in Randolph, Vermont, where he earned his associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering in 1978. Throughout his 45-year career, he continued to expand his knowledge through numerous certifications related to his work. For the past 12 years, Morrie was employed as a Package Layout Designer at Analog Devices Inc. in Wilmington, Massachusetts. His colleagues will remember him not only for his professional expertise but also for his humor and warmth he brought to the workplace.
Morrie shared 38 wonderful years with his loving wife Robin Salter Lewin, 33 of those were spent married. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter. He was immensely proud of his twin sons, Austin and Nathaniel, who were a constant source of joy and pride in his life.
Morrie was preceded by his parents Leon and Lucie Lewin. He is survived by his siblings: Bob Lewin of Newcomb, New York; Sue Bryan of Hartland, Vermont, John Lewin of Holly Hill, Florida.
A man of man of interests. Morrie had a passion for reading, particularly science fiction, and spent countless hours immersed in fantastical worlds. He was an enthusiastic participant in Dungeons & Dragons over the years and found great joy in photography as well as building model cars, airplanes, and collecting model trains. Morrie spent many years with Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Troop 107 in Grafton, Massachusetts, helping his sons achieve their Eagle Scout rank, he was a dad advisor for DeMolay, the Benjamin Franklin Chapter which his sons were active with for many years. In 2007 Morrie became a Mason with Siloam Lodge in Westborough, Massachusetts, following in his father’s footsteps.
Above all else Morrie cherished time spent with his family. Those who knew Morrie will fondly remember his quick wit; and unique sense of humor. Whether through quirky jokes or silly antics, he had an extraordinary gift for making people laugh even in the most challenging situations. Morries’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and creativity, a life well lived that touched so many along the way. May his memory bring comfort to all that knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 11am at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Massachusetts.
