Michael M. Ferranti

SHREWSBURY - Michael M. Ferranti, 66, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. He is the loving husband of Cynthia “Cindy” Ferranti, with whom he has shared over 47 years of marriage.

He was born in Worcester to the late Michael and Lucy (Portosa) Ferranti. Michael dedicated 26 years of hard-working service to the WRTA and will be remembered for the steadfast commitment he made to his job. A self-professed workaholic, he took great pride in what he did yet cherished his days off spent unwinding at Foxwoods. A true history buff, Michael loved exploring the stories of the past and sharing his knowledge with anyone willing to listen.

Along with his wife Cindy, Michael also leaves behind his son Michael Ferranti Jr, and a brother Maurice Ferranti. He will be missed by close friends and colleagues alike.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a visiting hour on Monday, December 15th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street in Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
