Worcester

Luke Savageau, 63 of Worcester, Mass., passed away on April 17 after a short battle with cancer. Luke lived his life to the fullest, attending Loudon for the NASCAR races, going fishing with his brothers at the lake, and listening to great music.

Luke was an executive chef at the Christopher Heights in Marlborough, Massachusetts. He worked there for over 25 years. For Luke, it was not work; it was enjoying the company of all his residents who he made sure had a great meal and followed the diets of many.

Luke made a great impression with his residents and staff every Christmas by designing his gingerbread houses. They were always recognized by many, even put in the newspaper! Luke loved doing theme days, whether it be on football, baseball, or welcoming spring with a cookout for all.
