Leominster – Loren Richard Tisdale, 79 years old, of Leominster, died Sunday, January 4, 2026 in Keystone Nursing Home in Leominster after battling cancer for over two decades. He is survived by his two daughters: Loree Tisdale of Westminster and Lorene (Tisdale) Ruderman and her husband Jeffrey of Worcester, brother Robert and his wife Sandra Tisdale of New Hampshire, sister Cheryl Tourigny of Winchendon, sister Linda Hembrow of Florida, sister Deborah Rivers of Gardner, brother Bradford Tisdale of Athol, granddaughters Kristen Malloy of Athol, and Morgan Moore of Orange along with 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his parents along with sister Donna Crawley of Leominster and grandson Nicholas Voedisch of Leominster. Loren was born on September 16, 1946 in Leominster, son of Ennis L. and Athena H. (Burns) Tisdale and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1966 and worked as a machinist for many years at General Electric in Fitchburg. Loren’s biggest and most profound accomplishments were his two beautiful daughters (Loree and Lorene) and he’ll be remembered as a gentle and kind man with a true love for hunting, fishing, family summer vacations on Lake Monadnock in New Hampshire and volunteering to assist with coaching the Leominster Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football teams.

There will not be a formal service, but the family encourages friends and family to celebrate the life of their loved one in their own way.
