Kathy was a very kind and compassionate person who always put her family first. She loved horses and would often talk about the horses she had as a child. She was also fond of butterflies and hummingbirds as was evident with the many tattoos she had of them. As a child she also had a talent for painting ceramics which she enjoyed. In the summertime she enjoyed fishing at her favorite spot at Otter Lake in Westminster with her family and her beloved dog Chloe who was her companion for over 20 years as well as her dogs coco and Scooby.

Kathy also loved Christmas. She had her tree up and decorated very early every year which she enjoyed doing with her daughters and grandchildren. She loved to be around her family on Christmas day. For many years Kathy volunteered at Hazel’s clothing donation center in Orange. She enjoyed the friendships she developed while there but mostly it gave her a place to gossip with the girls and be herself.
