Joseph Leo Vaillette

Joseph Leo Vaillette passed away at the Fitchburg Rehab on June 9th 2025 after a series of long illnesses.

Joe was born on October 23rd, 1955. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred Vaillette and Lucille Theresa (Thibaudeau) Vaillette. He is survived by his older brother, Eugene Vaillette, his two younger sisters, Christine (Vaillette) Frechette and her husband Gary Frechette, Rosemary Ann Vaillette, and several nieces and nephews.

Joe went to school at St. Cecilas School in Leominster, and then Leominster Trade for his high-school years. He then worked for many years at the Union Products and Atwell Shoes Company. His true passion was with the automotive world. He spent many afternoons and weekends taking engines apart, just to put them back together. He knew how to fix almost anything on a vehicle. His first car was an Oldsmobile 98 455 4 barrel ragtop. He loved that car like a baby, and would transport motors for other cars in the backseat.
