JEFFREY ALAN KALLIO
Jeffrey Alan Kallio, known to many as Jeff, was born in Holden, Massachusetts, to William and Norma Kallio. He was the third of four children and the only son, sibling to Kimberlee Morrow, Julie Lemon, and Jennifer Kallio.
In 1984, Jeff joined the Navy, a chapter in his life where he met and married his first wife, Isabelle Kallio (Agnes). Together, they shared 18 years and raised three daughters: Erika, Erin, and Jordan Kallio. Jeff later shared 20 years with his second partner, Pamela Bussiere, and her children, Kelly and William Breault. Family was the heart of Jeff’s life, and his greatest joys came from his grandchildren—Alexz, Anthony, Adrianna, Gia, Joshua, Kallie, Keegan, Jaxson, Josias, Julius, Kalvin, and Isabella—who will dearly miss their beloved “Papa.” Known for making them laugh, smile, and even cry, Jeff’s love always brought everyone back to joy.
Jeff spent most of his working life as an appliance repairman, known for his ability to fix just about anything with patience, skill, and sometimes a little cussing. Many of his regular customers knew him well and often paid him with cookies and sweets. His strong work ethic, characterized by diligence and integrity, was a legacy he proudly passed down to his children.
A passionate sports fan, Jeff loved not only watching but also playing various sports throughout his life—basketball, football, hockey, and especially softball, where many lifelong friends remember him as a dedicated teammate. In his later years, he could often be found on the golf course every weekend, playing in leagues with friends.
Jeff was many things: son, father, brother, “Papa,” and friend. But above all, he lived life by his own rules. He loved a good laugh, a well-timed joke, and a playful poke at those around him. Whether facing the toughest moments or the happiest times, his colorful words and loving laughter made an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Jeff’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, at 11 a.m. at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Home.
