Jeffrey Crumble

SHREWSBURY - Jeffrey T. Crumble, age 68, of Shrewsbury, MA, passed away peacefully in Worcester, MA. Born in Buffalo, NY, on November 16, 1957, Jeff never lost his roots—remaining a bold, unashamed, and "all-in" Buffalo Bills fan, even while living deep in New England Patriots territory.

Jeff was a man of skill and dedication, serving as a Professional Certified Welder at Electric Boat, where his work ethic was unmatched. To his family and friends, Jeff was their rock—a man of unwavering dependability. If he said he would be there, he was there; you could always count on him without question.

A dedicated and passionate member of the Worcester Church of Christ, Jeff’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was known for his directness and truth, and he never missed an opportunity to share his faith in God with the people he met. Known for his quick wit and ability to make friends with any stranger, Jeff was the life of every gathering. To his family, however, he was much more: a devoted husband who deeply loved his wife, Melanie, and a super-involved father and grandfather who never missed a moment in his family's lives. He was fiercely loyal, protective, and a teller of truths who led with his heart.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Velma and Joseph Crumble, and his sister, Charla Crumble. He is survived by his beloved wife, Melanie Crumble; his children, Jeffrey Crumble Jr., Taresha Crumble, and Jason Crumble; his sisters, Josette Jones and Rachelle Washington; his grandchildren, Destiny, Janessa, Tajaiah, Jesear, Tajie, and Jason Jr.; his great-granddaughter, Ayla Cove; and his niece, Chay-anna Crumble. 

Family and friends are invited to honor Jeffrey’s life on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA. A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 PM.
