Jeanne Marie Brissette

January 4, 1948 — October 23, 2025

GARDNER - After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Jeanne Marie (Grasso) Brissette has been lovingly reunited with her parents, Viola and Joseph Grasso, and her brother Ronald in heaven. Jeanne grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, and graduated from St. Mary’s. Over the years, she worked as a secretary, a school bus driver, and in retail, always bringing her sharp wit, big heart, and a smile to those around her.

In her younger days, Jeanne was known for her daring spirit, racing cars up and down the streets, living life on her own terms, and never afraid of a little adventure. She found joy in simple things; cross stitching, crafting, puzzles, coloring, and most of all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jeanne’s family and friends knew her by many names; Jeanne B, Crazy Lady, Crazy Bird Lady, Hey yo Ma, Yo Ma, and JB, each one reflecting the joy and laughter she brought into their lives. She is survived by her loving children Melissa Williams, Joseph and his wife Renee Brissette, Alexander and his wife Heidi Brissette, and David Brissette. Jeanne was the proud grandmother to Keenan and Alexis Williams, Chandler, Riley, Jayson, and Ezekiel Brissette, and was the adoring great-grandmother of Evelyn Williams and Lillian Brissette.

She also leaves behind her cherished siblings Regina Eldredge and Dan Grasso, her feathered companion, Birdie, her grand-dogs, Malmok, Arashi, Sadie, Irie, and Peter, along with her favorite cats, Stinky and Kiddens. As a lifetime animal lover, they were her companions and sources of comfort. Mom, rest assured we will always keep plenty of scissors, batteries, lighters, and pens close by, just like you did.

We love you endlessly. Rest peacefully.

Arrangements are under the care of Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester.
