WORCESTER: Gregory A. Gustafson, 61, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 23, 2017. He leaves his husband, Robert R. Allen; his mother, Beverly A. (Lamberty) Hahn and her husband James A. Hahn of Fort Worth, TX; three sisters, Elizabeth C. Vandenbush and her husband Paul of Fort Worth, Brenda L. Gustafson of Glenbeulah, WI, Lisa Hahn and her husband Briar of Hancock, WI; two brothers, Mark B. Gustafson and his wife Kim of Winter Park, CO, Bryan A. Gustafson of Plymouth, WI; two nieces, Olivia Wheaton and Beth Bodine, and his dog Missy. His grandparents, Gilbert and Eleanor (Cherney) Lamberty, and his beloved dog Becca, all predeceased him. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Ewald Gustafson. He was a graduate of West Allis Central High School and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Greg was a technical writer for National Testing Systems in Boxborough where he worked for the last 8 years. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester and was the secretary and former co-chair of Worcester Pride. He enjoyed photography, graphic arts, science fiction and working with computers. He will be remembered for his gentleness, kindness, compassion and his willingness to help others. There are no calling hours. After cremation, a Celebration of Gregâs Life will be held at 3 P. M. on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29 at the UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH of WORCESTER, 90 Holden Street. The family suggests donations in memory of Greg be made to Worcester Pride, P. O. Box 1126, Worcester, MA 01613.
