Worcester – Gloria M. (Mercado) MacKinnon, 35, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. Born and raised in Lowell, she was the beloved daughter of Dario Mercado and Vivian (Rios) Torres-Denny.
Gloria attended Greater Lowell Technical High School before graduating from Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida. Intelligent and hardworking, she built a career in accounting and tax preparation, and was equally at ease behind the bar, where her warmth and spirited personality made her a natural in several local establishments.
A vibrant and social soul, Gloria found joy in cooking for those she loved, challenging friends to a game of pool, and riding her motorcycle—embracing the open road. Above all else, she was a devoted and loving mother, a role that brought her the greatest pride.
She leaves behind her mother, Vivian Torres-Denny; her father, Dario Mercado; her cherished children, Antonio Davidson, Kira Davidson, and Kenna Davidson; her sisters, Vivian Mercado, Amizaday LaManna, Dariana Mercado, and Genesis Mercado; her brothers, Xavier Mercado and Luis Torres; as well as several adored nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory during calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester.
