Gerald G. Ferguson

Worcester - Gerald G. “Gerry” Ferguson passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his residence in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Gerry was born in Worcester on July 16, 1948, the son of George and Cecelia (Pearson) Ferguson. He lived and worked in Worcester throughout his life.

Gerry worked for many years as a chef at the Eden Garden Restaurant and later served as a security guard for the Worcester Welfare Office for several years.

He is survived by his two brothers, Ronald Ferguson of Worcester and Richard “Rick” Ferguson of Worcester; his sister-in-law, June Ferguson of Worcester; his brother-in-law, Earl Fanion of Leicester; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Cecelia Ferguson; his two sisters, Tia Ferguson and JoAnn (Ferguson) Fanion; and his two brothers, James Ferguson and Robert Ferguson.

Gerry’s memory will forever remain in our hearts.
