WORCESTER: Florida (Sabourin) Shaw, 90, of 49 Pleasant Valley Drive, died Thursday, August 25, 2005, in the home of her daughter in South Dennis. Her husband of 63 years, George W. Shaw, died April 3, 2004. She leaves a son, Steven Shaw of Whitinsville; two daughters, Frances Kelliher of South Dennis, Kathleen Shaw of Pawtucket, RI; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers and four sisters predeceased her. She was born in Burlington, Vermont, daughter of the late Wilfred and Regina (Matton) Sabourin. She moved to Worcester in 1977. Florida worked for 15 years at Bernat Yarns in Uxbridge before retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. After cremation, A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, Sept. 12, in ST. JOAN OF ARC CHURCH, 570 Lincoln St. , followed by A COMMITTAL SERVICE in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. There are no calling hours.
