Sand Lake, NY/Worcester, MA - Edwina A. (Sutherland) Randall, age 94, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026 at Oasis at Dodge Park in Worcester, MA. She was born in Plymouth, NH, the beloved daughter of Robert E. Sutherland and Lucy K. (Carleton) Sutherland.

Edwina earned her bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. She began her career at the Newington Home and Hospital for Crippled Children, where she combined her professional training with her exceptional artistic and handicraft talents to help children overcome the challenges of their disabilities. Her creativity, patience, and compassion made a lasting difference in the lives of the children she served.

In 1958, Edwina married the love of her life, Allan D. Randall. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, service, and adventure. After their marriage, Edwina devoted herself to creating a warm and loving home while remaining deeply involved in her church and community.

A devoted member of the Church of the Covenant in Averill Park, New York, Edwina faithfully shared her time and talents for many decades. She was a member of the choir, joyfully sharing her love of music in worship. She was a founding member and leader of G.O.O.F.S. (Girls Organization of Fun and Service), inspiring fellowship, service, and friendship among its members. Her gifted hands created countless quilts and handcrafted items for the church's annual bazaar. She managed the handicrafts booth for decades, coordinated the rummage sales, and served as chairman of the annual bazaar on more than one occasion.

Edwina and Allan shared a love of travel, exploring destinations throughout the United States and around the world. Every journey became a treasured keepsake through Edwina's meticulous scrapbooks. She lovingly assembled large binders filled with postcards, brochures, maps, photographs, and other memorabilia, accompanied by detailed accounts of each day's adventures. These volumes became a treasured family archive, preserving not only the places they visited but also the joy they found in discovering the world together.

Edwina is survived by her son, David Randall of Cary, North Carolina; her daughter Alida Lupsiewicz and her husband Philip of Bristol, Rhode Island; and her grandchildren Derek Lupsiewicz of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; Ian Lupsiewicz and his wife Paige and her great grandchild of Townshend, MA.

The lives of Edwina and Allan Randall, who passed away on December 29, 2025, will be celebrated at the Church of the Covenant, 3055 New York Highway 43, Averill Park, NY on October 3, 2026 at 10 AM.
