WORCESTER: Edward J. Guertin, 75, formerly of Granite St. , died Saturday, November 10, 2007, in Milford Regional Medical Center, after a brief stay at the Beaumont Nursing Center in Northbridge. He leaves his wife of almost 50 years, Helen E. (Gay) Guertin; two sons, Thomas F. Guertin and his wife Mary of LaGrange, KY, John M. Guertin and his wife Marcia of Oxford; two daughters, Therese M. Cusack and her husband Kenneth of Bellingham, Annmarie Guertin and her life partner Anne Castonguay of Upton; a brother, Leo W. Guertin and his wife Melvia of Lakeland, FL; ten grandchildren, Jessica, James, Samantha, Joseph, Adam, Erinn, Mark, Michael, Aleah, and Adrienne; a great grandson, Little Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Raymond E. Guertin and a sister, Alice M. Whites, both predeceased him. He was born in Whitinsville, son of the late Francis N. and Delina C. (Benoit) Guertin, and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Ed was a photo engraver for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette where he worked more than 30 years, retiring in 1993. He had been a member of the Telegram and Gazette Golf League and attended St. Paul's Cathedral. He enjoyed archery, bowling, and spending time with his family. CALLING HOURS will be from 5 to 8 p. m.
