Donald J. Freeman III

WEBSTER – Donald J. Freeman III, 60, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Eileen (Christie) Perry and the late Donald J. Freeman Jr. Growing up in New York, Donald moved to Florida in his youth, eventually settling in Massachusetts in 2015 with his partner Patricia Carroll.

A lover of all things Rock n’ Roll, Donald was a collector of memorabilia and was always listening to his favorite bands – AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Kiss, to name a few. He was interested in ancestry research and valued time with his children and his granddaughter, Bonnie who was his pride and joy. His incredible sense of humor, that kept his family laughing even until his final days, will remain a cherished part of his legacy.

Donald leaves behind his six loving children, Chris Freeman and his wife Serenity of NY, Danielle Woodworth of FL, Ryan Freeman of NC, Kayla Freeman of NC, Elizabeth Haire of Webster, and Krystal Carroll of ID; his cherished granddaughter Bonnie Freeman; his mother Eileen Perry of Margate, FL; his partner and caregiver Patricia Carroll of Webster; and 4 siblings. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Jr., and 3 siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
