Dianne Elizabeth Connor

AYER - Dianne Elizabeth (Bacon) Connor, 60, a long time resident of Ayer, passed away on Thursday morning, April 10, 2025, at her home.

She was an avid basketball player and was inducted into the Ayer High School Hall of Fame on October 27, 2018; she was also a medical lab technicial at New Wellesley Hospital, and a Deaconess at New Hope Community Church, Ayer. Dianne served in the Army Reserves. She loved sports and her family.

Dianne leaves her beloved husband Deacon Ronald O'Neal Connor of Ayer, whom she was married to for 35 years; her daughter Taeler Connor of Ayer; her son Isaiah Connor and his wife, Gianna of Washington state; her brothers, Alton B. Jackson and his wife Barbara of New Hampshire, and Melvin D. Jackson and his wife Sharon of Delaware; her sister Robin C. Price and her husband Ray of Virginia; and her brothers-in-law Bernie H. Wright, III of Virginia, and Omar Connor and Victor Connor of Massachusetts. She also leaves three grandsons, Geovanni, Luca, and Micah; one granddaughter, Camille; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dianne was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Bacon, her sister Marilyn "Magic" Bacon Wright, and her brother Robert Bacon, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 11am - 2pm at New Hope Community Church, 139 Sandy Pond Road, Ayer, Ma.
