Christopher (Chris) Jasheway passed away on June 9, 2025 after a brief illness. He was 74. Chris was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas. He served in the US Army as a Tactical Circuit Control Specialist. He moved to Massachusetts where he lived in Greater Boston, Auburn, and Worcester. He worked as a copier an technician for over 40 years for several companies including IBM, Kodak and Danka. Chris was a devoted volunteer at the food pantry at Quinsigamond Village Community Center in Worcester. He was a long-time member of the Shalom Mountain Retreat Center community. He loved cats, science fiction, good food, family, and friends.

Chris was predeceased by his son Adam Jasheway, and his nephew Ian Jasheway. He is survived by his daughter Deva Jasheway of Massachusetts, brother Daniel Jasheway and his wife Marita Cason, sister Lynne McIver and her husband Roddy, nephews Zach Jasheway, Karl Jasheway, Sean McIver and wife Cassandra, Ryan McIver and wife Adrienne, grand niblings Dakota Jasheway, Faith Jasheway, Mason McIver, Maggie McIver, Barrett McIver, and Abby McIver all of Texas, and his aunt Doris Koch and uncle David Batker of Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St, Worcester on July 15 at 6:30PM.
