Catherine Mitchell

Catherine "Katy" Todd Mitchell of Worcester, MA, passed away on August 14th at the age of 94. She was born in White Plains, NY on June 26, 1932 to William S. Todd and Catherine (Adams) Todd.

She married Joseph M. Mitchell, Jr on April, 12th 1958. Joe and Katy started their family life together in White Plains, NY followed by 41 years in Rockwall, Texas and the last four years in Worcester, MA. Katy and Joe also enjoyed their winter months on Sanibel Island, Florida. Katy loved to read books, needlepoint and spend time with her grandchildren.

Katy was predeceased by her parents, brothers William and Western, sisters Adella and Carol. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph; nine children, Laurie (Stephen) Schelz, Joan Lindsay, John (Elizabeth) Mitchell, Cathy Mitchell (Jody Devero), Bill (Jennifer) Mitchell, Peter (Holly) Mitchell, Sally Mitchell, Jill (Greg) Martin and Carrie (Bill) Papa. Eleven grandchildren, Chris, Jason and Jessica Schelz, Sean Mitchell, Colin and Riley Mitchell, Ryan and Kyle Talbot, Kiera, Emily and Jake Martin.
