Brett Anthony Zawielski (“Bubba, Brettski, Brett Anthony Pig”), age 32, born and raised in Worcester, passed away Tuesday August 25th, 2026. Brett was surrounded by friends and family at Mass General where he peacefully took his last breaths.

Brett loved spending time with his friends and family. Whether it was going to Vermont for a “Boy’s Trip”, trying new restaurants or getting pedicures with Ava. He was known for bringing light to everyone’s life. While spreading joy and laughter constantly. Brett was following in his papa’s footsteps where he worked as an electrician for 4 years. This was just a small fraction of who Brett was, he was an amazing older brother, especially to his little sister Ava.

Brett’s life will forever be remembered in the lives of, Lori Zawielski (Mother) and her spouse Shawn Hartigan, Jim Bogosian (Father) and his spouse Melissa Shanahan, Ava Bogosian, Evan Zawielski, Kyle Zawielski, Debra Zawielski (Grandmother), Zack Keidan, Anto Beremian, Jon Adams, Johnathan Oberman, Vito Ciccarelli, many other friends and family.

He is being welcomed with open arms by his late “Papa” Joe Zawielski, Aunt Diane and Uncle Harry. He is joined by his friends from heart camp who were taken even sooner than Brett. He is reunited with his childhood best friend Aaron who was also taken far too soon.

As requested by Brett, his wishes were for everyone to gather for a celebration of life. The date and location are undetermined at this moment but will be released as soon as possible.
