Aaron Robert Kane (1990-2026) Aaron Robert Kane, 36, of Auburn, MA (formerly Kennebunkport, ME and Pownel, VT)

died on May 11, 2026.  

He was born in Bennington, VT on January 14,1990 to Robert and Cheryl (Adamowitch) Kane. He was a beloved son, 

grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin. 

Aaron was a resident of Auburn, MA, previously of Jacksonville, FL and Kennebunkport, ME. Aaron trained in karate from an early age, earning his black belt in 2001. He also loved playing basketball on teams through high school. Aaron graduated from Portsmouth Christian Academy before joining Americorps, where he served in Denver, CO, New Orleans, LA and Crown King, AZ. He was drawn to spending time in or near the ocean;  at Wells Beach or scuba diving. As a PADI certified scuba instructor he traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, St. Thomas, and Tahiti. Aaron was a dedicated employee in both retail and hospitality throughout his adulthood. His hospitality work spanned from Kennebunkport, ME to Key Largo, FL.

Aaron battled through private struggles bravely, always with the support of his mother. Though he grappled with tough times, he knew that he was loved. Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kane, paternal grandmother Alice Kane, and maternal grandparents Charles and Cynthia Adamowitch. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Kane (Auburn, MA), siblings Brian Turner (Baltimore, MD), Jason (Chelsea) Ford (Cardiff, CA), Ken (Heather) Ford (Lexington, MA), Rebecca (Chris) Connole (Auburn, MA), seven nieces and nephews and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Socks, Stewart, and Fluffers were three cats Aaron had a strong connection with over his lifetime.
